PROJECT SOLOMON

        PROJECT SOLOMON is CIF’s venture to purchase a property for our worship center, headquarters and school this year.  We know that since 1984, CIF has moved its worship center and headquarters to different places. Much like the Israelites journey, we have been nomads pitching our tents in MBI Orense ,Escuela Street, Gate 1 house , Trustworth Center and Camino Office .

       Like King David, we long for a place for God’s house- His church.  Though CIF is  a home for all of us  ; we need a house to put it into. King David was already living in a great palace of cedar when he longed to have a House for God. Because of his excitement and eagerness, God promised his favor .

                                 “ AND I WILL PROVIDE A PLACE for my people Israel

                                      and I will plant the so that they can have

                                       A HOME OF THEIR OWN   …”  ( 2 Sam 7:10 )

                                            If God said  He will Help us , how can we fail ?

GOD’S SENT AN ANGEL 

    We know that God encouraged David with the plan to build. He even  told him where the place is . God sent an angel to tell David the  to go to the threshing floor of Araunah, the Jebusite (   1 Chronicles 21: 18-19 ) .

NO , INSIST !

God pointed the chosen property for His House, but David bought it not using the Palace fund, but His own money ! He wants to build God a magnificent house .  Araunah wants to give to the king as a gift but David refused saying ““ No, I insist on paying the full price, I will not take for the Lord what is yours, or sacrifice burnt offering that cost me nothing . So David paid Araunah six hundred shekels of gold for the site.” 1 Chronicles 21:21
